Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Next-level.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Also, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid.
